Lauren & Anthony

"All our guests made the night so much fun."

A secluded beach near Streaky Bay was the backdrop for Anthony Feijen’s proposal to Lauren Nitschke.

“We were strolling along a secluded beach, I was admiring shells along the way and then all of a sudden Anthony was down on one knee, ring in hand proposing,” Lauren recalls.

The couple, who both grew up in the Adelaide Hills, met about a decade ago through friends of friends and immediately connected when they began spending more time together.

They were married at the White House at Hahndorf on February 10 this year.

“The day was perfect,” Lauren says.

“We got ready in an adorable Airbnb in Hahndorf, then a short drive down the main street to the beautiful venue.

“I made all the signage myself and our florist, Kathy, nailed all our ideas, so seeing it all come together was definitely memorable.

The ceremony was officiated by celebrant Lauren Townsend, who Lauren said captured the couple’s story amazingly.

“Other favourite moments would definitely involve the dance floor,” Lauren says.

“All our guests made the night so much fun and there is not a thing we would change from the day.”
