Editor’s note – Winter 2024

Welcome to the winter 2024 edition of the Hills Wanderer!
Warm woollen jumpers, coats and gumboots – it’s that time of year again!
Over the past two years since launching the Hills Wanderer magazine, we’ve been thrilled to watch it go from strength to strength.
We’re grateful to our strong base of loyal adverstisers who make this publication possible season after season and we’re excited to announce that this year we have expanded our distrubition further into Adelaide’s suburbs.
As well as delivering thousands of copies across the Adelaide Hills through The Courier newspaper and other local businesses, we are now delivering 2000 copies to hotels, cafes, restaurants and other businesses around suburban Adelaide.
We hope this will encourage more people around our State to venture into our beautiful region and see what we have to offer.
And there is plenty on offer!
This season we introduce you to the chef behind the new food and spirits collaboration, Ondeen, and take you on a journey to Stirling’s Woorabinda Bushland Reserves where one man turned his expression of grief into a beautiful community project that has the power to connect strangers from around the world.
Also, don’t forget to take a look at our brand new Adelaide Hills fashion showcase, which we have launched in this edition to spotlight the region’s vast range of fashion businesses and offer readers with fashion inspiration for the season to come.
